Promotion of Gender Equality

The Institutional Strategy’s funding lines touch the neuralgic points in the academic system in which women’s career paths are hindered. They support young female researchers at the transitions from graduation to their PhD and then into the PostDoc phase and offer financial aid in special situations (pregnancy, care work etc.).

Additionally, promotional tools as the Caroline von Humboldt Professorship make excellent female researchers more visible. A Leadership Program for Female Professors will clear their way into top-level positions.
